CorLife Announces Collaboration with Garmin®, Global Leader in Fitness Devices

CorLife, the transformational health and wellbeing app, is pleased to announce a collaboration with Garmin, a global leader in fitness devices.

Garmin users who consent to share their data from devices such as the Garmin vívosmart® 4 and the Garmin IndexTM Smart Scale can now view that data in the CorLife app and receive tailored coaching insights based on their health and activity metrics, all thanks to a CorLife platform integration with the Garmin Health API.

Leveraging their expertise in improving employee health within the medical and elite sports arena, the CorLife app provides screening and monitoring of both physical and mental health. The app also offers support and coaching for individuals, helping them improve their personal resilience through improved fitness and well-being.

Garmin wearables are a great tool for users of the CorLife platform. Garmin has been designing and manufacturing wearables for over 15 years to help people live a healthier and more active lifestyle

CorLife users will benefit from the following Garmin device features:

  • The vívosmart 4 is a smart activity tracker which monitors pulse ox to track blood oxygen saturation levels at night to better understand sleep quality*. The device also includes an energy monitor feature that estimates the body’s energy reserves, letting users know the optimal time for activity and rest. CorLife programmes for this device include Big Foot to increase walking activity and Good Sleep to improve rest.

  • The Index Smart Scale is a scale which, in addition to weight, measures body mass index, body fat percentage, water percentage, muscle mass and bone mass. CorLife programmes for this device includes Decimation which aims to achieve 10% weight loss and High Five which aims to reduce body fat by 5%.

We are delighted to work with Garmin

Dr Adam Carey, CEO, CorLife, said: “We are delighted to work with Garmin, a global leader in fitness devices. Garmin devices will enhance the features available to our users, helping them better understand and improve their health. This is more important than ever in the COVID-19 environment. It is imperative that companies provide well-being support which complies with social distancing measures and demonstrably improves their employees’ physical and mental health as these are key factors in recovering from this virus.”
